Presenting…

   Posted by: David Potter

generations-small-posterGenerations is a musical production that has been 19 years in the making.  It is the culmination of a vision given to Daniel Perrin for reaching God’s people, the Jews.  We presented a form of this play in April of 2008, but Dr. Perrin has been working with professional writers and editors to refine the message.  We are pleased to be presenting it at Cedar Park Church in Bothell, WA, in June of 2009.

Generations is a Broadway style musical which tells the story of Joshua in the Warsaw Ghetto of 1942. He is the son of a respected Rabbi who has been killed by the Germans. Joshua is expected to take his place as a leader among the people, but he feels inadequate to the role. Dreaming of what he could have been had he lived in another place and time, Joshua imagines life in 1st century Palestine. There his dreams of becoming a great leader almost materialize. Eventually, Joshua learns something we all must learn.
