Principles
John Brewer first sang on stage at the age of 3 in his fathers’ ministry services. He grew up singing in church and school choirs. While attending Northwest University he sang in Northwest Sounds, a Traveling Ministry Choir.
Since childhood, John has been involved in church musicals. He has played dramatic roles in productions by Cedar Park, Abundant Life Christian Center in Arvada CO, and Evergreen Christian Community in Olympia, and has been assistant director for several children’s, youth, and sanctuary choirs.
Missions work is close to John’s heart. After graduating from college, John served in Russia for over a year with “Book of Life” Bible Distribution Teams, and he has also been on mission trips to American Samoa, the Dominican Republic, and Ghana. He is excited to be a part of Generations and looks forward to seeing how God uses it.
Currently, John lives in Graham with his wife Kathy and sons Caleb and Joshua. He stays busy as an at-home father and assistant choir director and member of a men’s quartet at Sound Life Church in Spanaway. He is grateful for his family’s encouragement and support of his participation in Generations, and would like to thank Dr. Perrin for this opportunity.
Jadd Davis (Joshua)
Jadd Davis has performed on many stages in the northwest and throughout the country, including the 5th Avenue Theatre, Village Theatre, Benaroya Hall, Seattle Children’s Theatre, American Musical Theatre of San Jose, Casa Manaña, Coeur d’Alene Summer Theatre, and MORE! He has been privileged to perform leading roles in such productions as West Side Story (Tony), The Who’s TOMMY (Cousin Kevin), Carousel (Mr. Snow), Guys and Dolls (Nicely), The Last Five Years (Jaime) and The Sound of Music (Rolf). He has also performed extensively as a concert artist. Jadd is currently mid-tour with a joint production of Cabaret produced by the 5th Avenue, AMT of San Jose, and the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts in St. Paul, MN.

Ross Hauck (Rabbi)
Tenor Ross Hauck lives with his wife Laura in Issaquah, WA(Seattle) with their twin boys, Daniel and Benjamin. Mr. Hauck enjoys programming and performing innovative song programs, often for various sacred concert series. He is also a cellist and voice teacher, and is a soloist at the First Presbyterian Church of Bellevue.
A very active concert artist, Mr. Hauck has appeared with the National Symphony, Tanglewood Symphony, Chicago Symphony and others. This season includes performances with the Seattle Symphony, Portland Chamber Orchestra, Bellevue Philharmonic, Cascade Music Festival, Seattle Early Music Guild, Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra, Bartlesville Symphony, and the Portland Baroque Orchestra. Recent opera credits include Wolf Trap Opera, Sacramento Opera, Tacoma Opera, Aspen Opera Center, and Indianapolis Opera. He has premiered new roles in operas by American composers Libby Larsen and John Musto, and was recently featured on the Naxos label recording of the opera Brundibar. Recital highlights include the Ravinia Festival and the New York Festival of Song. Mr. Hauck holds degrees from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.
Kasey is very excited to be a part of Generations! She is a working actress, teacher, and a director in Seattle. Recent local credits include Mame – 5th Avenue Theatre, High School Musical (Gabriella) – Seattle Children’s Theatre, The Who’s TOMMY, Bye Bye Birdie, Cats, The Music Man – Village Theatre, and A Chorus Line (Kristine), Peter Pan (Tigerlily), and Pippin – Coeur d’Alene Summer Theatre. In the fall, she’ll be playing Dorothy in Seattle Childrens’ Theatre’s production of The Wizard of Oz. Love to J and the family!
Kaatje is thrilled to be making her debut as Halina in Generations. Kaatje, age 8, lives in Seattle with her family. Besides homeschooling, Kaatje enjoys singing, ballet, playing piano, and creating art.
Tommy Simpson has been performing since the age of seven. Always picked to recite the biggest part in the church Christmas Cantata, Tommy learned to be comfortable on stage. In high school Tommy was part of The Men’s Chorus, A’ccapella Choir, and Madrigals. In college he became interested in acting, debuting as Jack Point in Gilbert and Sullivan’s Yeoman of the Guard.
After college Tommy joined a traveling singing group, The Internationals, Singers and Orchestra. The group toured the United States, Canada, and 14 countries in Europe. In his second year with The Internationals, Tommy met Wendy Journey, the love of his life, and in 1982 they were married.
Tommy’s credits include instructional videos, voice over work, and stage roles, including the wise man Hassan in Star and Uriel in The Zealot.
As a youth pastor and a dad with four girls, Jay is no stranger to drama. Jay has been involved in acting since junior high school, taking part in various church productions, and he played one of Herod’s scribes in Star last Christmas at Cedar Park. He and his beautiful wife, Sandy, have been married for 11 years and are serving in Student Ministry at Cedar Park.
Sandy has been singing for over 14 years and loves musicals. She played Mary in Two from Galilee for Cedar Park’s Christmas Repertory Theater and recently played Hannah in Star in December 2007. She is involved in worship, singing with the choir and with Canvas Ministries. She has been married to Pastor Jay Smith for 11 years and is a stay-at-home mom with four sweet daughters.
Talie is 11 years old, in the 5th grade and the oldest of four sisters. She loves to read and play with her pets. This will be Talia’s debut musical. She is so excited and has been looking forward to playing Halina for Generations.
Stacy Evans has lived in the Northwest most of his life and has been singing or acting in some capacity since his voice changed. Music and Drama as a ministry has been a significant part of his life for more than 30 years. He is currently a member of the Mosaic Choir and serves on the worship team of North Sound Church in Edmonds where he lives with his wife Madalyn. Along with the Mosaic Choir, Stacy has had the opportunity to work with Daniel Perrin and perform a number of pecises written or arranged by him. The experience has given Stacy a deep appreciation and respect for the enormous gift the Lord has given Dr. Perrin. ” I’m honored to be a part of Generations and am anxious to see the impact it will have on those who share the experience with us”.
Nolan Hingson (German Soldier, Friar, Roman Soldier)
Nolan has been involved in music and drama since junior high school. He was in various choirs and church productions at Westgate Chapel in Edmonds, including a tour of Asia with an original musical called Something Higher. At Shoreline Community College he appeared in Carmen, starred in The Magic Flute (Papagano) and performed John Rutter’s Requiem for former President Jimmy Carter. He also performed with the Kings Players in various productions, including Hello Dolly (Ambrose Kemper) and had a solo in Anything Goes as a singing sailor. Over the years he has been a part of worship teams for various churches in the Puget Sound area. He and his wife Lisa live in Everett and they attend The City Church in Kirkland. He is truly honored to be a part of such an amazing production and would like to thank everyone involved for this incredible opportunity. “My hope and prayer is that Generations will greatly touch peoples’ hearts and that they’ll come to know the One who sets us free.”

Paul has been married to his lovely wife Ann for 49 yrs and has 3 married children, 11 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. He is retired Senior Tooling Engineer. Paul has been interested in music and art ever since childhood. He played clarinet and oboe in grammar school through high school and into college. He has sung with the Cedar Park choir for many years. He has sung in many Victor performances and Star. Paul feels it is a privileged to sing and act in Daniel Perrin’s musical Generations.

Jon and his loving wife Chris have been married for 29 years. Their two beautiful daughters, Mary and Bethani, have enjoyed singing since childhood and continue to do so. Jon has always enjoyed singing and decided to join the Cedar Park choir in September 2007 and sang in the musical Star in December 2007. He is thrilled and honored to be involved in Generations along with Bethani. Jon’s prayer is that folks who experience Generations will be dramatically impacted and drawn to the Lord.

David Potter (Man, Mr. Kaplan, Prisoner)
David has been involved with drama and productions at Cedar Park since 1996 and has played many roles in The Victor, Cedar Park’s annual Easter play, including Jesus, Pilate, Peter, and others, as well as Christmas Repertory Theater roles throughout the years. He was most recently seen as Rashid in Cedar Park’s presentation of Star. He has also directed and produced several plays, including two Christmas plays at Cedar Park.
David is the co-founder of Catalyst Drama Ministry for which he has produced, directed, and acted in plays throughout the Northwest. David is a software developer by trade and has four children with his wife Michelle.

Ken Williamson (Man)
Music has always been a part of Ken’s life in one form or another. From singing in a family quartet of youngsters at the age of 6 to currently singing at Crossroads Bible Church. Ken has sung in Europe on a mission trip, and had the honor to take part in a hymn project for the nation of Slovenia, to premier a new hymnal in their own language. Ken enjoys singing, playing, and listening to music of many genres and styles. Prior to Generations, he participated in The Zealot. Ken lives in Redmond, WA with his better half Dian (wife of 11 years), son Mason, and daughter Ava.
