Daniel Perrin (Executive Producer, Author, Composer, Lyricist, Conductor)

Professional directing credits include: Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me (Victory Gardens, Chicago), Gulf View Drive, Angel Street, Translations, As It Is In Heaven, It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, God & Shakespeare, Molly Sweeny (Los Angeles) and has several projects in development.

Marianne is an adjunct professor at Vanguard University, an alumnus and participant of Directors Lab West, an associate artist with Taproot Theatre Company in Seattle and is on the Advisory Board of Provision Theater Company in Chicago.

Training: MFA Acting, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Guest Artist Central School of Speech and Drama, London.

Upcoming projects include: The New Harmony Project 2008, directing Victoria Jackson: Fueled By Rage and directing Hamlet at Actors Co-op in Hollywood.

Michelle has been acting at Cedar Park since her first Victor in 1996 and has played several roles including Claudia, Adulterous Woman, Martha, Mary Magdalene, and Mother Mary.  She has also performed in several Cedar Park Christmas Repertory Theater productions playing such roles as Hilda in The Christmas Express, Miss McLaughlin in Dad’s Christmas Miracle, and Madame Sofronie in The Gift of the Magi.

Michelle, along with her husband David, co-founded Catalyst Drama Ministry and has acted, produced, and directed.  Her favorite Catalyst roles include Dr. Ida Scudder in No Turning Back, Elisabeth Elliot in Bridge of Blood-The Jim Elliot Story, and Nan in Home for Christmas in 2006.  Michelle produced and stage managed her first musical Star at Cedar Park in December 2007.  She is delighted to help bring the musical Generations to the stage for its debut and equally as excited to take the production to Israel.

Michelle is a dedicated home maker for her husband and children, Bethany, Rebecca, Daniel, and Michael.

Richard Lorig (Set Designer)

Rick is a freelance scenic designer whose recent work includes Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Taproot Theatre, Travesties at Seattle Public Theatre and Monteverdi’s L’Incoronazione di Poppea with the Early Music Guild.  Additionally, he has designed for Village Theatre, Empty Space, Tacoma Actor’s Guild, Exchange Theatre, Bathhouse Theatre, NWAAT, Alice B. and Childsplay Inc.  Rick has also worked as an exhibit and display designer and has authored the children’s book, Such A Silly Baby, with his wife, Steffanie.  He is currently an instructor and resident designer in the Drama department at Highline Community College in Des Moines, WA.

Paul Haglund (Sound Engineer)

Paul started working in sound at the age of 15 with the youth choir at Fair Oaks Presbyterian church in California.  He moved up to head sound engineer when Fair Oaks Pres moved into their new 1100 seat Sanctuary in 1985.

In 1990 he moved to the Northwest do to a job change installing avionics in general aviation and corporate aircraft.

In 1992 he started attending Eastside Foursquare Church and started engineering again.  He worked at Eastside as an A2 engineer.

In 1994 he was asked to help out with the Cedar Park Easter Production.  After that event, he was asked to start engineering for weekly Sunday services and has been there ever since.

In 1997 he married Nicole.  They have 3 children, Jaquelin 6, Gabriel 4, Emma 2.  He currently works for Kenmore Air and is the Senior Engineer at Cedar Park.

I want to thank Cedar Park for letting me pursue my passion, work with extremely talented people on stage, and be a part of a team that is being used by God to make a difference.

Sarah Karnes is happy to be doing back stage work once again.  This is her second time as Assistant Stage Manager (previously in the 2006 performance of The Victor), and she thoroughly enjoys it.  In the past Sarah has competed in Drama at the District and National levels of the Assemblies of God Fine Arts Festivals, performed in the Cedar Park Christmas Reparatory Theatre, and played Mary in the 2007 Christmas musical Star.  Sarah hopes to continue pursuing a career in theatre and is blessed to be able to work with such wonderful people as Marianne and Daniel.

David has been involved with drama and productions at Cedar Park since 1996, including acting, directing, and producing.  David has directed plays for Cedar Park’s Christmas Repertory Theater, including Home For Christmas in 2006.  He is the co-founder of Catalyst Drama Ministry for which he has produced, directed, and acted in plays throughout the Northwest.  David is a software developer by trade and has four children with his wife Michelle.

Amy Thompson received her training in Washington Academy of Performing Arts’ Conservatory program under the direction of Deborah Hadley.  She performed in many ballets including: Swan Lake, Giselle, Les Sylphides, Coppelia, La Bayadere, Don Quixote, and Paquita.  She received the Young Artist of the Year Award in 1997 for her work with St. James Cathedral and the Seattle Girls Choir.  Ms. Thompson was Artistic Director of the Ellensburg Dance Centre for over 7 years, during which time she set and choreographed for ballet and musical theatre including Nutcracker, Giselle, Swan Lake, Coppelia, Brigadoon, Fiddler on the Roof, Peter and the Wolf, and Paquita.  She has worked as a guest artist for Orchesis Dance Company, Ballet Academy of Moses Lake, and Valley Musical Theatre among others.  In addition, Ms. Thompson has experience in Costume Design, Light Design, and Stage Management.  She has taught Pilates, Jazz, Spanish, Character, Modern and Classical Ballet for numerous schools throughout the state.

Wendy Walker (Props Manager)

Wendy has been a part of theater ever since she was a child.  Her parents were heavily involved in the local community theater in Midland, Texas.  She and her sisters were always being brought to the rehearsals with her mom and dad.  It was not too hard to be drawn to Cedar Park Drama after being invited to see The Victor in 2001.  “I was so amazed that a church could put on such an amazing production.  I had not been part of a church for many years and that is what drew me back into the church.”  Wendy was a part of The Victor ever since.  She has been a townsperson and the Bleeding Woman in 2005.  Wendy has also been a part of the Christmas Repertory Theater productions of The Christmas Express and Home for Christmas.

Her passion is props for all the productions she has been a part of including the 2007 production of Star.  “Hunting for just the right prop that fits the scene has sometimes been a huge challenge but also very rewarding when the final production is done.”  She feels very honored to be a part of Generations and looks forward to learning from some very talented people.
